CRADLING YOUR BUSINESS LEADS TO NIGHTMARES!

Cradling your business leads to nightmares!

I’m hoping that you are having a winning day!

I was thinking about you and your business because I am hearing many entrepreneurs refer to their businesses as their “baby”. While I understand the concept to a point, I know that the most profitable entrepreneurs build their businesses to take care of them, their family, their community, the country, and ultimately — the world. A baby cannot take care of itself…much less, anyone else.

So, it is dangerous for the entrepreneur to view, treat, or refer to the business as a “baby” for too long. It’s really a set up for a set down. It’s a recipe for failure.

In reality, entrepreneurs really want to grow the business up as quickly and responsibly as possible. Why? Because all entrepreneurs know that the primary reason to start a business is to MAKE MONEY. Am I right? Yesssss!!!!

Businesses begin in the infancy stage. However, the infancy stage is not optimal revenue-generating stage because there are so many foundational elements that the entrepreneur has to firm up in order for the business to mature and provide value. Interestingly, this is the most critical stage in the business development cycle because it sets the tone for the health of the business.

Therefore, entrepreneurs must exercise care, wisdom, insight, and understanding to lay the proper foundation to ensure that the business grows and thrives to become a major contributor in our world economy.

As a Business Attorney, I assist entrepreneurs with strategic business growth planning. My motto: Your success is my success.   Let’s build a business responsibly!
