I’m hoping that you are having a winning day!
I was thinking about you and your business because I have heard many entrepreneurs debate over which is more important —- MAKING money or SAVING money. It’s an interesting topic because both disciplines are important to any business.
But, making money is far more important to a business than saving money. I say this because if you are not saving money, you can survive if you are making money. However, if you are not making money, you cannot survive for any significant length of time. Failure is on its way.
Therefore, entrepreneurs play a key role in ensuring that the business continues to make money. How is this done?
While there are many variables, the primary method for the entrepreneur to ensure that the business makes money is to build the business to solve a problem. If you want your business to make money, it must solve problems.
The following questions should be asked so that the business is laser-focused and adept at solving a problem: What problem does your business solve? Are there any other businesses solving the problem? How are they going about solving the problem? Are they doing a good job addressing and solving the problem? How is your business’ approach to solving the problem different and better? How well is your business actually solving the problem? How can you enhance, improve, or up-level your business’ problem solving approach?
As a Business Attorney, I assist entrepreneurs with refining their problem solving analysis. My motto: Your success is my success. Let’s build a business responsibly!
